Thank you for your interest in BronxCare Health System’s General Surgery Residency Program.

The training offered here provides a wide exposure to surgical diseases and procedures in a supportive environment. Trainees in the program are in the operating room from the beginning of their intern year and finish with upwards of 1,000 cases.

One of the most important elements of the program is the relation between the residents and faculty. A structured advising program is supplemented by access to mentors who guide trainees towards their chosen fields.

Applicants may apply for one of three surgical residency categorical positions through ERAS®.
