The Division of Gynecology, under the direction of Dr. Aruna Mishra, a highly experienced specialist, is performing complex procedures, such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, and ovarian surgery, through minimally invasive laparoscopic and other techniques. It offers an expert staff that treats the wide-ranging problems of women, both surgically and non-surgically.
Urogynecology
Advanced equipment and technology are utilized in treating women with urinary or fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Reconstructive surgical procedures are performed by a specialized team, under the direction of Dr. Marjorie Jean-Michel, Attending, Urogynecology.
Gynecologic Oncology
Advanced procedures for radical cancer surgery, in addition to chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and pain management, are effectively treating malignancies in women. Dr. Harriet Smith, Director, performs advanced robotic surgery for gynecological issues. This type of surgery contributes to a faster recovery and minimizes the risk of complications.
GYN Outpatient Surgery
A modern outpatient surgery suite is providing a comfortable and convenient environment for women needing outpatient surgical procedures. The facility includes two OR suites, a recovery area, private interview rooms, and a family lounge with a flat screen TV and other conveniences.
